The Punjab Government, under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, has announced a major support package for wheat growers facing rising diesel prices due to the ongoing global oil crisis linked to tensions in the Middle East (Iran situation).
Eligible farmers owning up to 25 acres of land will receive Rs 1,500 per acre as diesel subsidy.
This equals Rs 150 per litre subsidy on 10 litres of diesel per acre — providing up to Rs 37,500 for a 25-acre farmer.
This assistance aims to reduce the extra burden on small and medium-scale farmers during the wheat harvesting season, when machinery and transportation costs have increased significantly.
Who is Eligible?

Those owning or cultivating up to 25 acres (owners and tenants both qualify after verification)
